Next Steps...
I have been ever so lucky to make such good friends along my daylily path. One very special friend has such great seedlings, I am so lucky to have some of the next generation of her seedlings growing in my garden and will hopefully see bloom from them next year. I also have these to be started this year:

I am so jealous (jk) of some of the seedling you have and am nearly as anxious as you to see what comes from these crosses!I see lots of nice curls and quills and all sort of exciting traits that should show up and combine in the resulting offspring of the crosses shown!
Just wait until you start working in the species gene pool and some of the Mahieu plants, you will be a force to be reckoned with! Jamie V and Marc will be envious! LOL!

I've got some citrina crosses coming on - but still a year (at least) away from seeing any blooms on them. But, yes, those should be quite exciting!
I'm also really excited as 'Purple Satellite' and 'Aniakchak' arriving today!!
Fingers crossed that these babies live up to their potential. :D

Thanks! I have high hopes for the seedlings this year. Last year was terrible as far as the weather, and things really didn't perform well. Fingers crossed for this year!
And I can't wait to post photos of the seedlings from these crosses - linking them back to the 'parent' post so that it is easier to see what each cross produces.
I'd be very interested in seeing some of your stripey seedlings! I think it is such a cool line to work with. How have your results been so far?
