Purple Many Faces is a great Ned Roberts daylily. Ned was a friend.
I have a number of his daylilies.
Brer Rabbit's Baby is one of my favorites. I have a seedling from Brer Rabbit's Baby that Ned really liked.
I have several of Sam Lake's daylilies. Sam is not doing so well. My grandson made head table in Macon, Ga. with one of Sam's daylilies. We wrote him and he was so happy. Am interested in your hybridizing program. I am located in middle Georgia. An hours drive from Macon, Ga. Great daylily growing here. flyjo@bellsouth.net

Joanne, I used Purple Many Faces in crosses this year - I can't wait to see what the seedlings turn up. I added Brer Rabbit's Baby this year - it is a beautiful daylily! I hope to use it next year in my hybridising.

I don't have any of Sam Lake's introductions, but I shall have to look into them now!

I am located in England, and it isn't always easy to get daylilies here (there are probably only around 3,000 available from nurseries here) and half of my orders this year were imports from the US.

Thanks for getting in touch. I would be interested in hearing about your hybridising as well. I'll send you an email.
