Lambert Genetics

I am incredibly taken with Dr. John Lambert's introductions. I think that the gene pool he has left us is incredibly rich and many more interesting seedlings are there to find. As well as the more popular 'proven' parents, such as 'Prague Spring' or 'Asterisk' I am trying some of the lesser known ones to explore their gene pools. I'm particularly interested in 'Maude Peacock' and 'Patterns'.

'Maude Peacock' is the parent of Brian Mahieu's 'Jungle Expedition'. 'Patterns' is parent to two Brian Mahieu 2003 introductions: 'Lilywood Orchid Tones' and the stunning 'Vincent Van Gogh' as well as another Lambert intro 'Luckenbooth'.

Super Special Seeds

Sometimes you meet the greatest people through shared interests. I have met a number of really great people through daylilies. None - absolutely none! - has been as wonderful as the person these seeds came from...

We share so many similar goals. Getting to grow out seed from her seedlings will be a great boost to my hybridising!
